2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid Joins Lineup As First-Ever Honda Hybrid SUV

Being eco-friendly and family-friendly just got easier. Honda recently announced the addition of the 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid to its lineup. This fuel-efficient crossover will be the first hybrid SUV for the brand, offering an efficient, yet powerful engine that still appeals to families with a range of features. Here is some of what you can expect with the 2020 CR-V Hybrid.

Ample power. Under the hood of the 2020 CR-V Hybrid, you will find a two-mode hybrid system, which is the same seen in the Accord Hybrid. This powertrain combines a 2.0-liter engine that produces 143 horsepower with an AC synchronous permanent magnet motor. With these power sources, the CR-V gets a total system output of 212 horsepower and 232 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful CR-V in the 2020 model lineup.

Impressive efficiency. While the CR-V Hybrid is the most powerful version of the SUV, it still manages to also be the most efficient. Honda expects this hybrid model to increase city fuel economy numbers over 50 percent compared to the standard CR-V engine.

Traction on slick roads. Every CR-V Hybrid comes standard will all-wheel drive, giving you the traction you need when the roads are slippery.

Standard peace of mind. Regardless of the CR-V Hybrid trim you choose, you will receive the Honda SensingÒ suite of driver-assistance technologies as standard, helping you feel more confident behind the wheel.

An attractive exterior. A modern silhouette will help turn heads on the go, giving the CR-V Hybrid a sleek silhouette. It also comes with LED headlights and available 19-inch alloy wheels, along with blue-accented Honda logos that highlight its hybrid efficiency.
